So what’s just about the most exciting thing that could happen to a couple of trekkies on a day out to Brighton? You spot a group of suits holding balloons on the campaign trail. Yawn. Then you recognise one of the people in the group as the one and only Patrick Stewart. Oh. My. God. I somehow managed to point and focus the camera. I even spoke to him and he was lovely. What an awesome start to a pretty cool day.
